James 4

Here's James chapter 4 for you all to read today! It is a beautiful chapter to read ! It has so many good lessons ! So , here it is! Have a wonderful day in God's love and grace!

James 4

 1From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
 5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
 6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
 7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
 9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
 10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
 11Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
 12There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
 13Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
 14Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
 15For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
 16But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
 17Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

God's Wonderful Grace and Project Memory

    Hi, Everyone! Good Morning ! Where I live , it's cold and rainy this morning , but I still consider it a beautiful day because God is with me!  His grace is wonderful! He is so gracious and merciful to us ! We are horrible sinners , but he still loves us  and wants to spend eternity with us in heaven ( and on the new earth .)!

  Psalm 84:11

" For the Lord God is a sun and a shield: the Lord will give grace  and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly."

  Our LORD GOD Is wonderful, and gracious , and merciful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Project Memory : Week 2

Last week , I put up Romans 12:1,2 for everyone to memorize.  How did it go ? Did anyone memorize it?

This week, we are going to memorize another verse :

PSALM 62:1,2

 1Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.
 2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

Ask God to give you the strength and grace to memorize this verse this week!

Scripture Memory

        I think it is very important to memorize scripture, because you will have a defense against the devil when he tempts you. So, about once a week on my blog, I am going to post some BIBLE verses to memorize for the week. It won't be on specific days, but it will be once a week. So, join me in  project: " SCRIPTURE MEMORY"!   These verses will be taken from the King James Version Bible.

      Scripture Memory , Week 1 :

Romans 12:1,2

  "    1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.    "

Congratulations Kyle & Mandy!

     I would like to congratulate Kyle & Mandy  of  , She Breathes Deeply , on the recent birth of their beautiful baby girl , Lily Beloved!  Go to her blog , and check out the pictures of Lily! She is precious, a true gift from GOD!

          May God bless their family!

A Living Sacrifice

         ROMANS 12:1,2

    1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

      What does this Bible passage mean? We as Christians are to be examples to the world. We need to represent Christ wherever we go. Our bodies are the temple of the HOLY SPIRIT.

        1 Corinthians 6:19 says :

19What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  ( KJV)

     Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. He dwells within us, however, He cannot dwell in an unholy , sinful place.

     We need to take care of our bodies by following the 8 laws of Health, which are :

    Nutrition
    Exercise
    Water

    Sunlight
    Temperance
    Air
    Rest
    TRUST IN GOD

         Take care of your body , It is not your own!

We are sinners . We are hopeless sinners , lost in sin if it weren't for God's wonderful grace and mercy! He didn't want to be separated from

A Bible Chapter To Read Today

Romans 12 ( King James Version)

 1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
 3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
 4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
 5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
 6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
 7Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
 8Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
 9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
 10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
 11Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
 12Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;
 13Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
 14Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
 15Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
 16Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
 17Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
 18If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
 19Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
 20Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
 21Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
